We recently visited the Edna Martin Christian Center, while there we learned all about food deserts. A food desert is any area with no fresh food and produce within a mile radius and no means of transportation.
Consequently, these families in food desert are forced to purchase items from fast food restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, and other low quality markets.
Our campaign aims to help eliminate this issue by supplying reusable tents, tables, and chairs for the Edna Martin Christian Center’s farmers market with help from Oasis Church.
Our goal is to raise $1,500 for the tables, chairs, and tents, and with your help, we can help eliminate this issue.
Thank you, from us to you.
