About

Embracing Arms

by Sagamore Leadership Initiative

Not everyone is as fortunate as us. That is a sad realization that has come to the forefront of our minds. With that, we have decided to help the less-fortunate, specifically helping with foster children. After looking over several options, it became apparent that Hands of Hope was our best option. We have partnered with them in hopes to provide supplies to assist the children in their transition to their new homes. We are looking to raise $1500 to buy backpacks, clothes, books, bedding, cosmetics, and toys. A study in 2018 showed Indiana has seen a 58% increase in the number of children in foster care over the past five years.[1] Help us raise money for Hands of Hope! #backpackattack

I felt led to give because it is really important to help those in need. Especially the innocent. Also Noah is my cousin.

I have a neighbor who has been a foster parent many times, and know the kids have been blessed by their experience.
