About

Rowing for Terebinth

by Meridith Black

As many of you know, I have a deep love for people...especially those who have been hurt and abused. Here in St Cloud, Minnesota is an amazing organization that is helping to give real and lasting hope to women who have been victims of sexual assault and trafficking. It is called Terebinth Refuge.

Terebinth Refuge is a Christ-centered non profit shelter and transitional home that brings hope and provides strength-based, trauma-informed and holistic services for sex trafficked and sexually exploited women, transitioning them from bondage to a life of health, stability and independence. Currently, Terebinth is expanding it’s resources as to meet the needs of a hurting area (Central MN).

My desire is to help them however I can. You may also know that I have been on a health journey myself, so I have chosen to challenge myself to row a half marathon on September 8th (21,097m indoor). It’s my hope and prayer to introduce others to Terebinth Refuge via this challenge...and to take my health journey to the next level.

If you are passionate about helping women who need help living the life they were created to live, will you join me in my support of Terebinth Refuge?

Thank you in advance for your support of Terebinth Refuge!

Gratefully yours,
Meridith

It appears that this is an issue that is not widsly known but is becoming a bigger issue. I have a daughter so my heart hurts for the young girls that have have gone through such horrible things.
