About

Serving the Homeless of Indianapolis - TPUM

by Dorvetta Price

It's 2 degrees out as I type this! It is scary cold for those of us who have to get outside to go to work, but imagine being out in it 24/7? or even for 4 hours a day while the shelters clean up to get ready for a night of over crowded sleeping space.

The 3rd Sunday of each month the TPUM family heads out to feed, clothe and give hope to the homeless of Indianapolis. Last month it was cold and rainy and we set out to feed 100 people and offer new and donated hats, gloves, scarves and socks. We ran out and had requests for things like men's underware, razors, sanitary napkins,... and prayer.

We feel so honored to be able to be the hands and feet of a loving God, who loves each of us with an unconditional love.

This month we will again take the 3rd Sunday to serve food and distribute winter necessities. Will you join us by donating financially to this campaign or through donations of the above items?

3 plus 5 equals 8. The number 8 represents new beginnings. A new year is here and I have joyful expectancy of a new season for me. :)
