Help take our campers #ToNewHeights!
For one week each summer at Bradford Woods in Martinsville, Indiana, we provide a summer camp experience for children and adolescents who have tracheostomies and require respiratory assistance, such as the use of a ventilator. Our campers get to enjoy outdoor summer camp activities including swimming, canoeing, and climbing, just like every child should! They get to experience the thrill of zip lining and the adventure of horseback riding while increasing their independence and creating memories that last a lifetime.
We always let our imaginations run wild when trying to find ways to create new experiences and memories for our campers. We're proud to say that in partnership with the Finish Line Youth Foundation, we recently constructed a 140' and 375' accessible zip line for our campers to enjoy! Since many of our campers have wheelchairs and ventilators, getting the chance to zip line through the trees was an amazing new reality and experience!
Now, we're ready to once again take our campers #ToNewHeights! Our next adventurous goal is to construct a wheelchair accessible treehouse where our campers can independently climb up into the trees, spend time with others, and experience the wonder and beauty of the outdoor wilderness! The treehouse will also serve as our staging and launching area for our two zip lines!
The best part about this treehouse and zip line project? It's about so much more than just CHAMP Camp. Nearly 800 kids with chronic illnesses and disabilities from camps like Riley Hospital for Children, Little Red Door, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Easter Seals will have the opportunity to enjoy an amazing new experience they simply can't anywhere else.
Our campers can't wait to climb a treehouse and glide through the woods, but WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our goal is to raise $25,000 to bring us one step closer to taking our campers #ToNewHeights!

Because this camp gave our son an adventure we never thought he would be able to have. Camp will never understand the impact that it had on him and families they provide this opportunity too.

My company (Tendercare) and family have always been involved with Champ Camp, but I never really understood how awesome it is until I saw the video. I have a daughter and a son on the way and I can't imagine them having some of these limitations, but if they did, I would be very grateful for a place like this. I hope I can support this cause into the future. Keep it up!

My son has been going to Champ Camp for 4 years now. Being able to do all the things kids without special needs can do is amazing. He has been on a hot air balloon, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, ZIP LINING, climbed a tower, and so much more. But the friendships and bonds that are created are, as a parent, priceless. What this camp does for these kids no words can describe.
