Youth Mentoring Initiatives purpose is to provide school-based mentor programs in the Fishers Community. We focus on the personal development of students in grades 5 - 12 and encourage and equip members of the community to become mentors. Our goal is to actively mentor 600 students by 2020. This year we plan on adding 75 new mentors to 7 school programs. Our goal is to complete 4000 hours of mentoring during the 2016-2017 school year. For the first time we are adding a dedicated staff member to Fishers High School. Their purpose is to be an additional resource to the counseling department, deans office and to the entire student body.

I was blessed to have a two parent family, both of which made themselves accessible to me whenever I needed help. '74 was the year I was born and by the luck of the draw, I was a winner in the "family lottery". I'd like All children to the blessing of a sting adult support network.

I love this program for our schools! I gave $125 because it is more than I gave last year (I think) and I want the program to grow as well
